Bojan Simoski

Bojan Simoski is a computational social scientist and AI researcher with a strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and digital health technologies. Holding a PhD in Computer Science from VU Amsterdam and an MSc from Paris-Saclay, he has led multidisciplinary projects at the intersection of AI, social behavior, and health. His academic work spans agent-based simulations, Bluetooth-based social network inference, and ethical data donation practices. Bojan has also designed and developed several digital health interventions, where he applied full-stack development and user-centered design, backed by rigorous data analysis.

His professional experience extends beyond academia into industry roles as data science consultant, where he delivered machine learning solutions and proof-of-concepts. Bojan’s contributions are reflected in numerous peer-reviewed publications focusing on mHealth, social networks, and pervasive computing.

At Erasmus MC, Bojan is one of the researchers of the project ‘Reading between the Lines‘, where he will help to study the influence of the online living environment on the health behaviors of young people in Rotterdam.
